No man is an island, as no business can last without manpower. Your employees play vital role in the success of your business, therefore it is vital that you know how to make the best of each of your employee’s skills and knowledge. By empowering your employees, you increase your business’ productivity.

You should know how to make room for career and character growth in your company. It is good to periodically conduct seminars and trainings for employees to help them gain more knowledge and skills. Skilled employees tend to perform better and more efficient than those employees who just follow instructions by the book.

You should also eliminate the employee mentality. Most successful businesses are the ones that treat their employees as business partners. If you have good relationship with your employees and you treat them as if they hold stocks in your company, they will become more concerned in the welfare of your business. This way, they tend to stick beside you through business tough times and not easily give you their resignation letters when your company faces tough challenges. It is also good to listen to their ideas and be open to suggestions. You never know, perhaps the key to your success may come from the most humble source.
